Rural Edge is seeking a professional and highly motivated Marketing and Operations Manager to work with and support the Executive Manager deliver on our strategic plan, build the reputation and profile of Rural Edge within the primary production sector in WA (and nationally) and assist with managing and administering the operations of Rural Edge including the workshop program. Other key duties include the establishment and implementation of the new marketing and communications plan and stakeholder engagement strategy, workshop/event/program development and community and stakeholder engagement.  A high level of financial acumen is also required.

This part-time contracted position reports to the Executive Manager and will be part of a small team of contractors and facilitators. The successful applicant will need to provide their own office (work from home – Perth or regional WA based) and resources (consumables, travel etc subject to approved reimbursement), with an anticipated commencement date in December 2021.  The normal hours will be worked Monday – Friday and as agreed, however a flexile approach to working hours is required from time to time. The salary will be commensurate with experience and the successful applicant will be employed as a contractor for an initial term of six months, after which a review will be conducted.
