In this session, we explore details around leadership and mental health. More specifically, how farming women stay connected with their community; overcoming barriers such as being a female leader in a male-oriented culture; confidence in skills and being comfortable with calling yourself a farmer; and joining board positions to meet a standard for diversity.

Succession Planning - Farm and Family Business


This important session highlights the latest workshop developed by Rural Edge and will showcase examples of how families with positive plans for succession fare well. Modern day ideology, growing cost of land, emotional considerations and factoring in dividing assets with non-farming family members are all discussed.



Farm Technology to gather and interpret data


Considering careers in technology are newer than careers in farming, we investigate how the two meet, what farmers are doing with it at the moment and what the future of technology on farms looks like.



Mental Health in Communities


We have all heard too many stories and some have been very close to our homes and hearts. Let’s unearth what is happening on the ground to be proactive around mental health in our communities and how you can get involved and gain support.
