Nathan has been at the helm of the West Midlands Grower Group for nearly 5 years as the Executive Officer. Based in Dandaragan, Nathan has overseen the growth of the organisation from three to seven staff. Prior to this, Nathan has completed a PhD in farming systems at the University of Western Australia, and early in his career managed the family mixed farming operation on the Victorian/South Australian border near Naracoorte (SA). Nathan was a founding grower elected director on the Grower Group Alliance and stepped down in mid 2022 after two terms on the board. Nathan has also completed numerous governance courses and has a strong focus on education.
