Rural Edge Australia Inc is committed to providing high quality programs and services to our community.
Rural Edge Australia will endeavor to run all Professional Development workshops on the advertised or contracted dates and will support and encourage clients to honor their bookings and attend their workshop.
However, circumstances do arise that make it necessary for Rural Edge Australia or an individual to cancel their enrollment.
Participants can apply for a full refund based on;
- No place available for a participant due to maximum number of places being reached;
- Circumstances causing cancellation of the Professional Development workshop that are created by Rural Edge Australia;
May have their refund approved by the Marketing & Operations Manager.
A participant who withdraws, for reasons other than those specified above, beyond 7 (seven) working days or more, prior to the commencement of the workshop, will be entitled to a full refund.
Exceptions to the timeframe for notification of withdrawal apply in-Company Programs for which preparatory/developmental costs or other expenses such as flights and accommodation have already been incurred.
A participant who withdraws less than seven (7) working days will be charged the full workshop fee.
In situations where a participant claims a refund due to exceptional reasons related to personal circumstances beyond their control (i.e. serious illness or disability, or family emergency) the claim should be decided by the Operations Manager. A pro-rata refund of the fees may be approved.
Minimum participant numbers are required for a Professional Development workshop to proceed and Rural Edge Australia reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a scheduled event to ensure minimum number requirements are met. Where cancellation or change of date of a Professional Development workshop occurs, participants are to be contacted directly by a Rural Edge Australia staff member.
Refunds will not be provided if a client simply changes their mind or chooses the wrong service or product.
Cancellations must be made in writing, and acknowledged by, a staff member of Rural Edge Australia.
Any agreed credits will be valid for six (6) months from the date of the intended workshop.
