Lauren grew up on a sugar cane farm west of Mackay in North Queensland and now resides in Binnu Western Australia on a grain farming property. Laurens background is in Finance and Administration having obtained a Diploma of Financial Services specialising in General Insurance and spent a decade working as an Insurance Professional and more recently as an Accounts Payable manager following the birth of her two sons.
